Mysterious ‘George W. Bush: Our leader’ Clear Channel political public service billboard graces Orlando freeway

A billboard recently put up in Orlando bearing a smiling photograph of President Bush with the words “Our Leader” is raising eyebrows among progressives who feel the poster is akin to that of propaganda used by tyrannical regimes.

Proposal would tax drivers based on how much they drive

This week, talk-show tongues wagged and e-mail lists buzzed with the news that Joan Borucki, appointed Monday by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger to head the California Department of Motor Vehicles, wants the state to consider tracking how far motorists drive and tax them accordingly.

On to Iran: Won't Get Fooled Again?

It is not yet Bush's second term. All available US troops are tied down in Iraq by a few thousand lightly armed insurgents. Go-it-alone Bush has isolated America from her allies. And the neocons want to spread their war to Iran.

US Withdraws 100 Tanks From Korea, Moves Them to Iraq

A US army officer in the Republic of Korea (RoK) on Sunday said that the US has begun to withdraw 100 M1A1 tanks from the border area with the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) and transfer them to Iraq.

In the E mail, he likens Alex Jones and the Americans Against Arnold movement to the Klu Klux Klan, saying they are "probable threat to our freedom and safety and are not fit to carry Governor Schwarzenegger’s luggage."
