OxyContin quaffing, Bush worshipping, torture apologist Rush Limbaugh has plumbed a new low in both sickness and inacurracy. Limbaugh has been hawking a new line of caps, T-shirts and mugs that depict the Guantanamo Bay detention camp in Cuba as a holiday home.

Taiwan rights groups have scored an early success in their campaign to stop national fingerprinting which they say could turn the island into a police state not 20 years after the lifting of martial law.

It is bitter irony that the CIA is using a group still labelled as a terrorist
organisation, a group trained in the art of explosive assassination by the
same intelligence units of the former regime of Saddam Hussein, who are slaughtering
American soldiers in Iraq today, to carry out remote bombings in Iran of the
sort that the Bush administration condemns on a daily basis inside Iraq.
