Airstrikes Take Toll on Civilians
U.S. Marine airstrikes targeting insurgents sheltering
in Iraqi residential neighborhoods are killing civilians as
well as guerrillas along the Euphrates River in far western
Iraq, according to Iraqi townspeople and officials and the
U.S. military.
