The Pat Tillman and Jessica Lynch cases are
two clear and blatant examples of how the government has consistently
lied to the public about events during both the wars in Afghanistan
and in Iraq, often spinning situations, distorting reality
and covering up the aftermath in order to put the US military
occupations in a better light.
