Use VPN to hide your IP address now! Stop govt surveillance of your web surfing now!

Virtual Private network has come a long way. DO NOT PAY FOR THIS SERVICE!

UltraVPN is FREE/NO ADS and an excellent way to hide your IP and surf anonymously. I use several but this one seems the best. The server is in France.
UltraVPN at https://www.ultravpn.fr/

Just download, install, start account which is simply a name and pw at the download website and that's it.
Your network is as secure as its weakest part. Most certainly, UltraVPN will not be this weakest part.
You can check its source code and build it yourself. UltraVPN is fully based on OpenVPN, which is available there. OpenVPN is the de-facto reference for SSL VPN.
UltraVPN servers are run by Lynanda . No connection or traffic logs are kept.

When it starts, it takes a minute so be patient, sometime you have to try twice at hi load times but it works every time. I checked my IP now and it says I'm in France!

I did setup Squid as an anonymous proxy on my server.

It was not that hard to do, although I had to google for a decent article to get advice and explain some of the config setting to edit.

I have also used TOR and Privoxy in the past, which worked for a long time without too many problems.

Its going to be next to impossible to hide from the really bad people under Internet 2. They will track you from the minute you logon to your ISP and they with use IPv6 layer 3 and Shibboleth.

TOR was incredibly slow for me and who knows who is using YOUR IP with TOR? Nobody uses your IP with VPN.
If Internet 2 costs me any more money, I'm out. I will not pay a penny extra, which is already outrageous to pay $70/month for internet. I can't believe I have to pay another $70/month to watch TV now, and if my wife was not such a movie fan, it would be disconnected today.

I think it is most revealing how far we have slipped quietly into a Police Surveillance State.

I honestly can not think of any bullet proof method of masking your IP. They all have flaws, such as if you go to some private company or individual you really have no idea who they really might be, or how tight there security is, what they do with the log texts, and how many spies have simply put a tap or splitter in the cable.

Anyway, much more important burning issue . . . .
That is a lot of money, 70$ a month for Internet.
i wonder how fast your internet connection is ?
