Bigley’s Body Still Not Found In Iraq Because It's Not In Iraq

As Britain's ambassador to Iraq made a televised appeal to Iraqis for help in finding the body of engineer Kenneth Bigley, beheaded by his kidnappers this month, JUS has received information from source close to the Jama'ah Tawheed wa'l Jihaad that sheds light on both why the body has not been found and the details surrounding his execution.

Our sources tell us that Ken Bigley's body has not been found because it is not in Iraq. Bigley was taken out of Iraq to Jordan where he was to be released before a sudden turn of events that resulted in his execution. Our sources also tell us that Jama'ah Tawheed wa'l Jihaad is based in Jordan, not Iraq, which is why Bigley was ultimately moved there. This is signifigant as the US is claiming to be conducting lethal bombing raids on Fallujah in order to neutralize Abu Zarqawi and Jama'ah Tawheed wa'l Jihaad. Fallujah Mujahideen have stated time and time again that Zarqawi is not among them. This latest information gives further credence to their claims. Further, more and more reports are surfacing that Zarqawi IF he is alive and that is a big if, has never been in Iraq since the resistance began.

JUS has also received more details surrounding the sudden execution of Bigley. In a statement issued by the Mujahideen in Arabic soon after the execution of Ken Bigley, they made it clear that a deal was struck between them and Bigley, in which he would be freed for his full cooperation. Ken Bigley then offered the Mujahideen something else, he offered to become Muslim and embrace Islam. After a period of consultation (shura) they decided to accept his Islam and freed him from his captivity (although for the purposes of the world he was assumed to be still captive). They advised him that having now embraced Islam, he was not allowed to leave or run-away from the battlefield as that would be tantamount to Kufr Akbar (apostacy). Allaah (swt) says "if the enemy come to you, don’t run away, because they know who they are, where they are, they know everything."

At the same time he was obliged to now fight with the Mujahideen against the British and American occupiers of Iraq, In the mean time the Mujahideen would continue to try to negotiate with the British and seek the release of the Muslim women prisoners held captive in Iraq. For the record, the lies spun by the British after their abject failure to secure Bigley’s release, by claiming that their were no female Muslim prisoners in Iraq except the two apostate Baathist women Dr. Germ and Dr. Anthrax was an insult to the intelligence of the Muslims, and in particular the Mujahideen. They made it clear to Ken Bigley that in the event they released the Muslim women, he would at that time be exchanged for them in a prisoner exchange, he would then be able to leave for the U.K. where as a Muslim he would be able to continue the struggle against the Crusaders politically and build public opinion against continued U.K. involvement inside Iraq, somewhat akin to what Yvonne Ridley has done and is doing, after her release from captivity inside Afghanistan.

Yet, after all this, and what the Mujahideen had explained to him, upon being released he decided to escape and run away. It was the big test for him and he failed it. They ordered for his execution to be carried out on the grounds of apostacy from Islam and running away from the battlefield.

If the British authorities, and Bigleys family who worked tirelessly for his release, want to find Ken's body, they should stop looking in Iraq and begin a dialogue with Jama'ah Tawheed wa'l Jihaad to negotiate its return from Jordan.
